The most awaited moment

December 10, 2018 will remain as the most historical moment for me and also for the ones who excelled the BCSE. Today, the sixteen years of my education journey had delighted me with a delightful outcome of the national civil service examinations so called Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE). For me, honestly speaking, initially after the exams I felt like I would stand somewhere below top 40 because I couldn't do written exams well and viva voce as expected. I even planned myself to reappear the exams next year. However, as the result day approached, I started garnering little hope in me to stand at least within top 40. Today, I was circummambulating the stupa built by Phajo Dugom Zhipo and Khandro Soenam Peldron for many rounds only with the hope to just have a good result. I faced the glaring statues as I sent my index number and CID number to 9313 with a long sigh. I couldn't believe myself as I received back the reply from RCSC standing on 35th rank with the score of 61.02% marks.

This achievement would not have turned out joyous in absence of the collection of several figures' contributions. I would like to share its credit to all the supporters as mentioned below. Firstly, I am truly grateful to Sir Ugyen Tenzin, from whom I received immediate help and encouragement. Your priceless support reaped as you expected. Secondly, I would like to extend my heartiest gratitude to all the teachers since my pre-primary school until the college. Thirdly, I am deeply thankful to my parents and relatives for being passionate and undying  for transforming me as you see today. Fourthly, I also would like to thank all of my friends for your warm wishes and being sources of inspiration for all times. And lastly, being myself a heartfelt devotee, I aslo would like to thank the triple gem and local dieties for showering me with unwavering blessings.

As I pray and wish always, the Royal Civil Sevice Commission has given me a space to render my service back to my tsa-wa-sum (king, country, people), my humble parents and relatives, and to my supporters. I am intensely glad for getting an opportunity to become myself a civil servant after nine months. And I will never let the trust and confidence placed upon me evade in the spacious air. My the most awaited moment is here. Once again, deeply thank you everyone for extending your consistent helping-hands and kindest wishes.

Hedonic bicycling to Paro

The second day of April was the pre-planned day for five of us to travel bicycling to Taktshang. We were of five who literally planned to land on the cliff of Paro Taktshang. Ozzie who was originally from the beautiful country called Switzerland was the brainchild of the plan on which all of us agreed excitingly. Another guy called Tay Powrie who was from Canada was very happy to join us. Sangay and Tshering were excited, too, as I did it. None of us had arrived at that destination except Tshering. "Here we go," we shouted with astonishment as we meet at the Four friends express way at Babesa. "Eki masho" I spoke in Japanese that I have learned of little when I participated in culture exchange program to Japan. And I used to joke with my roommate Tay often times. Only Tay understood. He laughed out and translated, "Let's go". "We're heading Paro" we trumpeted as loud as echoing it back to the college. Biking started. We desc...
