The gorgeous Lady of mine

It was almost in the dawn of the last semester when I first chatted with an unnoticed lady from Bumthang. We did chime in more after she sent me a game. The game had made me to ask her a question. And that question had opened the door for the future open conversation between us.

Only few days was left to report back to the college. We continued chatting going quite deeper into the conversation. As we went on chatting openly, the time had ripened for me to even ask for a gift (chom) from her hometown.

She acceptedcordially asking me back what do I wanted. I just said whatever words I could form in between my lips because I thought she might not consider it as a serious matter.

After several days of chatting with her, the day had come to report everyone back to the college and I was quite excited to see her and talk to her in-person.

Few days had passed starting the new spring semester. I stopped chatting with her for time being because I thought I might be disturbing her.

One evening a messege popped out over my messenger chat from her. She was asking me to take a gift from her. I couldn't believe it in the first instance.

"Really?" I responded her with a little hesitation because I felt quite uncomfortable to get it from a person whom I knew lately.

I couldn't meet her that evening. She had sent the gift in hand of her friend who was also a friend of mine.

I quickly dropped the gift on the top rally of my cupboard and went for dinner in the mess with the hope of seeing a glance of her. I sent her message thanking her for the gift. She would often ask me if I had the gift given by her. And jocularly I would reply her that I will open only on the graduation day.

I was totally engaged in chat most of the time with her since that gift day. We have been seeing each other sometimes in the distance during class time and had little exchange of smiles.

I went deeper into our conversation over the messenger. We talked over call hours and hours. Finally we could also meet in the video calls, then talk, joke and sing. I could share with her what were my interests, hobbies, favourite celebrities, actors and singers and so forth. She would also share what she liked doing and what she disliked, and what was her passion as well. Most probably we would had been the last people to sleep in the hostel.

It was on a day of early May when we were able to meet first time face to face for the breakfast in the mess. We were unable to talk as easy as we chatted online. I could feel a pinch of hesitation from both of us while sitting together and couldn't exchange looks each other with full confidence.

She had got a broad grin. I could touch her beauty gradually within me. Day by day, she looked charming and friendly.

During the cold night patrolling of all Residence Assistants (RA), as I requested her she served us with hot tea and snacks for two times. I felt from within that she was a kind and helpful lady I had ever met in my entire college time and in my life as well.

One evening I also sent her a plate of chowmein through a friend of mine. I had also loved to share her eggs and snacks such as dumplings and paratha. She also sent me a packed rice with curry which was brought from Dargaythang shop.

One evening she also gave me a treat for helping her in making her presentation at college canteen which had become a favourite place for us later. All those exchanges had enabled us to be more close, friendly and open.

Meeting in the mess and college canteen had become like a daily routine for both of us. Slowly, we were able to go for walk down until the End-point shop. She would always go for ice cream and I even started accompanying her in taking ice creams and doma often. Coming for a walk until End-point right after dinner had also become like a daily routine for us.

The college picnic granted by His Majesty was decided to be there at Botanical garden. We walked down all the way from college until the picnic spot. It was the first time for us to hold the hands each other while climbing the steep ways.

After the picnic, we dicided to go for a long walk from the picnic spot to Babesa junction. I took so many photos of her and nature. And we even clicked photos on the way. On our way to college, I could still remember she showing me the walnut trees pointing among a groove of trees. We got back to the college only after the dusk had overtaken our eye lenses and the lenses of the camera which was hung over my neck.
Without her notice, I would look at her many times each day when we walk or sit together. Since the picnic day, my closeness with her started intensifying.

Gradually I felt like to be with her at anywhere or anytime forgetting my big circle of friends. She was as a gorgeous lady since that day, I felt myself. We would always look for a suitable time to hang out together and share feelings each other. Her own original painting of a sunset scene had marked our immense love since then. It was given to me and I preserved it, from my heart. Now I have even got frame for it to keep in our room in future.

Our next vigorous plan was to go for a daylong pilgrimage to Tandin-ney and Buddha point. That night before we went for pilgrimage, the last day was left for me to submit my final capstone research. She had helped me tirelessly in editing and modifying my visual aids in the research paper until the late night. I really felt indebted for her sleepless sacrifice.

The next day was our day to visit that two important religious sites of Thimphu. We climbed the hills up to Tandin-ney via YHSS. We stayed up on the top hills of the site gulping the fresh air and enjoying the beautiful scenario of Thimphu valley. It had already passed two in the afternoon as we descended down to the Thimphu town for the lunch. We walked until a restaurant called Dorji-trozey. After a couple of hours, we resumed the walk to Buddha point. It was almost seven in the evening  when we were done taking photos and circummambulating the biggest Buddha stupa of Bhutan.

Slowly I grasped her hands in my right hand and started descending to Babesa through bicycle route that connect the high way near Depsi school.  We took almost two hours to reach the Babesa express way. We really got exhausted and were little hungry.
We caught a maroon taxi and dropped back to the college around ten o'clock in the evening. We had been eating together and hanging out late for many days sometimes even bunking the classes. We would stay late night chatting and we would wake up each other in the morning. My feelings upon her got intensified even stronger. I could also sense she not been able to pour out her feelings upon me. We couldn't touch each other's unseen love until the night of hostel day.

She had slept already telling me to wake her up as soon as the actual party in the MPH got started. The music in the hall started blasting as the students lined up for the snacks and juices. My attention was never into such joyous party going on inside but to wake up her to meet me. No sooner did I call her than she came near the hall to see me. I got snacks and juice for her. I held her hands and took her to see the people rocking the floor in the partial darkness. After around half an hour, we went to dinner in the mess and walked down until Lhatshok dumra in the usual hangout time. At that point, we had developed a little guts just to hold hands to each other, walk together.

We were seated just above the gigantic rock on the way to Lhatshok dumra. That evening walk was quite cooler than that of the last few days. We were seated little separate but facing each other. It seemed  like she was feeling sleepy and cold. I asked her if she could sleep on my laps. Instantly, she agreed and lied on me. I hugged her tightly between my arms. She was looking up into my face as if she was going to talk something. I looked at her back with smile in the moonlight.

We remained wordless for a moment looking into each other's face. Our lips gently came closer and touched each other. I could feel her soft and pink lips on my libs. I closed my eyes and let her lips touch my gentle purple lips. It was my first sweetest kiss I had ever in my life.
That kiss garnered my confidence to tell her my only heartfelt three words. I also felt that she had the same feeling upon me but we couldn't pour out immediately.

The next day, I decided to tell her that she had gained my heart with unstoppable intensity. As daily routine, we went out for walk but little further than the place we kissed the last night.

We were seated on a rock. I hugged her and gently kissed on her cheeks and forehead. She was looking at me for a long time and said, "will you be with me all the time?"
I couldn't speak anything out of immense happiness, so I just nodded pushing back my tears of happiness looking into her face touching her soft cheeks and silky hair with my hands.

After some time, we were able to talk and share our all feelings we had stored in our hearts until that time. We had still a lot of momentous times together to be spent.

The final semester exam was
approaching nearer and nearer which also indicated that the term was coming to an end. We had so much love and care shared within the short period of time. We were able to build a much better understanding since we got into life-long relationship from a purely close friendship.

During exam time, we would return the college quite late having dinner in the restaurant most of the time. We had also decided and booked the student lounch to study sleeplessly in the night. She would always come with warm water and so many edible things to be spared in the refreshing times in between the studies. She would offer me her lap to take rest and look at her. She often beautify my rough face with several make-up sets such as aloe vera and lipsticks. In return I would also let her lie herself on my laps and do her make-up. We would take a short nap frequently hugging tightly to each other.

The exams were over. And it was time for us to get ready for the graduation day. She had chosen me a gho to wear on the celebration day.

The graduation day had ended joyfully. The time had come to depart every graduate to leave the college. It was very hard time for us to depart the then. She left a night earlier than me. I had a very lonely time and I even ended up shading tears myself on my bed. What a miracle this semester, in the last term at the college?

However, we had still time to meet in Thimphu. She happened to be first heartiest wisher on my birthday over all possible communicative ways such as Facebook, SMS and over phone call.

She would be my only lady who would choose me a suitable outfits, who feed me often when I feel like not having appetite, and she would only listen to my words.
She is one of the significant figures of my life who invited me to the world of ecstasy and who makes me feel that my life is always meaningful.

Now we have committed and dedicated to be together all the time. And we have promised never and ever to hurt or betray one another. She loves and cares me the same all the time unconditionally. I also love her wholeheartedly. My words to describe her would be always limitless.

We value what we have been until now and we have promised to be a life-long couple. We are born to belong each other. No one can shatter the love we share. I always pray for an everlasting peace and harmony between us. And she is truly the gorgeous lady of mine.

I love you unconditionally. With countless tight hugs and bountiful kisses from me ❤.

Back to southern foothills

A friend of mine and I had been waiting for the approval with regard to change of our placements from the RCSC for days with high hope. In a mean time we have been attached with the office for a couple of months. By the third week of March, we were made aware that we needed to be sent to our initial place of appointment. On 31st March we received the official relieving letter from the Head Office. We're asked to report to our respective workplace within the first week of April in case inconvenience was not caused due to the pandemic. Internally, Meera and I were worried about the ongoing housing issue both in our workplaces. Meera was at least glad that she got a guest house managed by her senior. She left to Phuentsholing within the first week of April from Paro. I still didn't get house. Yet I decided to stay in combine with friends for a week while I look for house. No sooner did I get the relieving letter than I tried for a publi...
